2:00 PM Float arrives in Staging (Nuccio Pkwy).  Unit Number: 62 Staging Zone: C
2:15 PM Parade setup and breakdown is Clan 5
2:45 PM Staging is open to other krewes, guests of KOB and members can arrive.
2:45 PM Guest please check in to get wristbands. Light snacks will be provided.
3:00 PM Safety/Security meeting.
3:45 PM Parade breakdown starts by Clan 5
4:00 PM Parade starts moving.  It could be a while before we move, but be prepared. 

Safety / Security prepares to be in position.
Parade ends Float Breakdown by Everyone.  Disbanding starts after 20th Street

PARADE MAP

STAGING ZONE INFORMATION:

ZONE C – Nuccio Parkway Southbound side of roadway south of 7th Avenue (West side of Parkway).  All vehicles and Floats are to enter Nuccio Parkway from Nebraska.

Parade ends as the unit turns left or north on 20th Street. You may dis-embark as the volunteers tell your group. All groups should disburse from the parade route so the parade may continue to move forward. Floats should be cleaned of any debris prior to leaving float.

FLOAT RULES

NO SMOKING ON THE FLOAT!

  • No one may enter or exit a float or vehicle once it is in motion on the parade route.
  • Stay away from the float, tow vehicle and hitch area at all times and respect safety security as they stop members away from the float. Floats move slowly and have bad visibility. 
  • Watch your back and do not lean over to pick up beads off the street.
  • Walking is ALLOWED on the sides of the float after the turn on to 7th ave. 
  • NO Standing in the hallway or bead bags on the floor of the hallway.  Keep it clear.  
  • NO standing by or on the stairs on the back of the float.  NO standing by or on the stairs to the castle.
  • Do not pile beads on the back of the float, or in the walkways painted black. Beads MUST have your name on them! Take your beads out of the box at home and use a disposable bag.

PARADE RULES

  • Please no hand to hand contact. Throw beads, don’t hand off!
  • Vehicles enter at proper staging zone locations – See below for staging zone specifics. Parade check in for drivers begins at 2pm. Do not arrive before 2pm. Please have driver’s license and vehicle proof of insurance card ready for check in for vehicles.
  • Parade check in for walking groups is at the corner of Nuccio Parkway and 7th Avenue. Lineup will be on Nuccio Parkway facing north on the Northbound side of the roadway.
  • One representative only from each group will check in with parade marshal at check in tent at the corner of 7th and Nuccio Parkway. Once checked in the group may take your place in the lineup. Volunteers will be available to show you to your staging location in the lineup.
  • Stay in the lane closest to the median to allow traffic on the other lane.
  • All vehicles must show driver's license, registration card and proof of insurance card to parade marshal. No vehicle will be permitted on the parade route without driver's license, registration card and proof of insurance. Tampa police may ask to see the same items as well at anytime.
  • All groups must be in place no later than 3:30pm. The parade will move out exactly at 4pm. If your group is not ready to move out, you will be removed from the parade lineup.
  • Any performance must be on the move. The parade will not stop for any reason. Volunteers will be stationed along 7th avenue to keep the parade moving.
  • All floats must have proof of liability insurance provided as a part of the parade registration packet. No float will be permitted to enter the parade staging area unless the liability insurance certificate is on file. ALL FLOATS MUST HAVE 6 CORNER SAFETY WALKERS WITH REFLECTIVE VEST AND CANNOT THOW BEADS. ANY FLOAT WITHOUT SAFETY WALKERS WILL BE PULLED FROM THE PARADE BY THE CITY. All floats must have a fire extinguisher on board.
  • No one may enter or exit a float once a float is in motion on the parade route.

BEADS

  • No suitcases please and No BOXES!
  • Please put bead bags in the storage shelves or up in the village or in the castle. Make sure your name is marked clearly on all bags.
  • Do not pile beads on the back of the float, or in the walkways painted black. Beads MUST have your name on them! Take your beads out of the box at home and use a disposable bag.
  • Do not bring suitcases, duffle bags or coolers and lay them all over the float floor, especially on the rear of the float.
  • Buy "Throw” beads, about one box (60 dozen) should work well for this short parade. Put beads in disposable plastic bags. No suitcases, NO BOXES, or coolers allowed. If you do not put your name on your beads someone may accidentally throw them for you or move them to another location.

PARKING

Park in the 15th Street garage (Nearest to Centro YBOR) on 15th St and 6th Ave. See map below OR the Noriega garage on Nuccio near Palm/8th then walk to the staging area right on 7th Ave. Staging runs right on 7th Ave and down Nuccio.
