Krewe of Brigadoon Welcomes 48 New Members, growing to 150

Tampa, FL – July 31, 2005 – Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon, only an 18 month old Krewe, has completed its yearly membership recruiting drive and is proud to welcome 48 new members.

Brigadoon started with 118 members in its successful inaugural year and set a new membership cap of 150 for the 2005/2006 parade season. This new cap was reached within three months and their recruiting season has closed a month early.

Membership is open each year from April 1st until August 31st. The first group of new members was initiated in a ceremony on July 28 th and the second will be inducted in September.

With a very active membership base, Brigadoon hopes to significantly surpass its charitable contributions (over $11,000 last year) and greatly impact the local Tampa Bay community this year.

Mission : Ye Enchanted Krewe of Brigadoon was formed by many, not one: to encourage and facilitate camaraderie and fellowship by providing and opportunity to support charity organizations and to participate in local parades.
